Mean,Median,Mode and Range

I was learning to understand mean, median, mode and range

I mostly found it easy but first I didn't understand what the mean meant but now I understand it after Mr Walker taught me how to use it. I think I need to work on doing the mean with decimals because I find it harder when I have to divide it due to the decimals if anyone has any information around an easy way to divide when decimals are present please let me know in the comments below. I would like to know about why finding the average is important and when I would use it in the real world.
