Hunua challenge

On Saturday the 16th of march our WPCA group had our first outdoor challenge. For the challenge we went to the Hunua ranges for a walk called the Wairoa loop track it took us 3 hours and 40 minutes including stops. One of the bigger stops we went up to a small waterfall as shown below. For all of the kids it mostly wasn't a challenge especially for me as I have been on harder walks with my family.

Pictures.

There was some good views.

WPCA Wesley Passion Community Action

WPCA actually stands for William Pike Challenge Award, To find out more click here.

I decided that I wanted to join WPCA because it sounded like fun and I liked the idea. As part of WPCA we have to do 5 outdoor activities, 20 hours community service and 20 hours passion project (learning a new skill of our choice) This year I am most looking forward to the outdoor activities, followed by passion project and community service.

There were objects in the middle which the blindfolded person had to collect the other people were not aloud to touch the objects or say what they were.
